Choosing the correct fund types when building up your funding package on your project record is extremely important.
If you are in receipt of a grant from the Circuit Model Trust Fund or District Advance Fund or are using local church funds held with TMCP you need to select the relevant type with the TMCP label e.g. Circuit Funds (TMCP). Funds which are held with TMCP can be requested via the payments form on the project record after the Consent Giving Body has given final consent to the project
You will see below a full list of all funding sources available to choose from when putting together your funding package.
You will see which body must confirm that the funds are available for the Project.
It is important to remember that Circuit Funds can only be confirmed by an authorised Circuit User and District Funds can only be confirmed by an authorised District user.

The fund types with TMCP in brackets are monies held by TMCP on behalf of the managing trustees, circuit or district and will be confirmed by the managing trustees, circuit or district officers and paid by TMCP.
For district trustees: If you are using district funds, e.g. DAF, then you will need to enter this as church funds, or you will not be able to confirm it and draw it down once consent has been given.
Church, circuit and district funds not held by TMCP will be confirmed by the managing trustees, circuit or district officers and paid locally.
Connexional Priority Fund is a connexional grant which is confirmed by the Connexional Grants Office and paid by TMCP.
CPF Levy Refunds only apply when your project has been accepted as a replacement. The proposed and confirmed amounts will be entered by TMCP Finance.
External Grant includes any grants applied for directly by managing trustees i.e. Charitable trusts, lottery, landfill (not via TMCP), local authority etc. Any grants received should be held locally.
Fund for Property is also a connexional grant. Again this is confirmed by the Connexional Grants Office. Fund for Property grants are paid by TMCP.
Landfill Grant (via TMCP) involves grants applied for via TMCP's Environmental Body - this is confirmed by the Landfill Grants Officer and paid by TMCP.
Other Funds (TMCP) includes grants promised from other churches, circuits, or other Methodist organisations and held by TMCP. These will be confirmed by Managing Trustees and paid by TMCP.
