If the members of the circuit meeting agree that the applicant Church can successfully deliver the project in line with a robust Mission Strategy, support can be granted to the project.

The circuit can support projects even if there are outstanding issues, such as incomplete funding or no listed building approval from the Conservation Officer (though the Project Record should at least indicate that initial contact has been made with the Conservation Officer).

The appointed member of the circuit should then complete the Circuit Meeting authorisation section of the project, adding any comments as appropriate.

If circuit funds are being committed to the project then this must also now be confirmed in the Funding section of the Project Summary.

As soon as a project receives support from the circuit, the district consent body will automatically be alerted and arrangements can then be made by them to consider the project for final consent.
